Light finds you differently when you're carrying a whole world inside you. This collection began in the body — expansive, energised, close to the earth.
I grew up in the Kimberley — rugged red earth, deep contrasts, a landscape that doesn't apologise for itself. I live now in Currumbin Valley, where saturated greens and blues spill from forest into sea. These places are part of who I am, and this baby is about to inherit all of it. That felt impossible not to paint.
The light source within each painting still draws you in, bold and alive at the centre. But wrapped around it now is something earthier. Something that holds.

Some works pull you overhead — aerial, expansive, like looking down at something ancient. Others meet you straight on, eye to eye with the land. Different perspectives, same pull toward home.
